Introduction

Basic Science and Technology introduces pupils to scientific knowledge, technological concepts, and practical skills that help them understand and interact effectively with their environment.

General Objectives

By the end of Primary 6, pupils should be able to:

  1. Understand basic scientific and technological concepts.
  2. Develop observation, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
  3. Identify and explain common materials, tools, machines, and processes.
  4. Apply scientific and technological knowledge to everyday activities.
  5. Develop awareness of health, safety, and environmental protection.
  6. Appreciate the importance of science and technology in national development.
